GEMÜ is offering the optimum solution for isolating pure steam with the new GEMÜ 555 angle seat globe valves (with pneumatic actuator) and GEMÜ 505 (manually operated). Due to the body geometry, the surface finish of the valve body achieves Ra values down to 0.4 µm! In addition, the seals have been checked in accordance with USP Class VI 121°C and therefore have no trouble satisfying the stringent requirements of the FDA. The valve plug has been welded to the valve spindle and finshed, which eliminates the otherwise usual "dirt pockets" which occur with valve plug solutions which are bolted together. And the globe valves even score highly in terms of traceability: a traceability chain for all wetted parts was initiated along with the requirements specification. As a result, material test certificates in accordance with 3.1 DIN EN 10204 can be issued and supplied with the product if required.
